Cloudia has been a partner of Business Finland in digitalized procurement services since 2015. They have been an integral part especially with international projects.
The partnership started because Business Finland had to digitalize their procurement processes. They didn’t have that kind of know-how within the company, so Cloudia was chosen to assist them.
The services Cloudia have provided consist of two separate platforms, Cloudia Sourcing and Cloudia Contract. Cloudia Sourcing is a digitalized sourcing system and Cloudia Contract is used for contract management.
– We needed new systems and support in their use. We couldn’t have develop this kind of software by ourselves, says Eriika Autio, who is a Senior Director at Procurement Unit in Business Finland.
“The biggest benefit has been the fact that all the material is available to all the parties at the same time. This keeps everyone up to date.”
Business Finland has utilized Cloudia Sourcing and Cloudia Contract for example with Expo Dubai 2020 and competitive procurement of PR agencies in the UK and consultants for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
– These are typical examples of what we use the systems for. The biggest benefit has been the fact that all the material is available to all the parties at the same time. This keeps everyone up to date, Autio says.
Another great thing about Cloudia has been their customer service.
– Our questions are answered quickly. When we have had some concerns, they have listened and made the required changes, Autio says.
Because of the partnership, Business Finland has been able to develop a framework for their competitive procurement processes. Now their employees can focus on what they do best and leave the technical side to Cloudia.
– Cloudia has been a good partner to us and I can recommend their services to other organizations that need to develop their digital procurement processes. They have improved their services very much during these past four years we have done business together, Autio finishes.
